It's at the end of the year when people think about New Year resolutions. Most have to do with losing weight and/or eating healthier. But, many people (including myself), never follow through with those resolutions.
I have decided this year to tackle this resolution once again, with the help of a personal trainer and hopefully you too! On Jan. 5th, I will begin a three month journey to live a healthier lifestyle. Andy Berger, from Infinity Fitness (www.infinity-fit.com), is a great friend as has commited to working with me on eating healthier and teaching me how to make the most out of a workout. You can join me...just, listen to the show (3-7pm on 104.9 The River) each week. Andy will share my goals from the previous week and give an update on what I accomplished. He will also share the goals of the new week, and share how you can get started at home! Throughout the 12 weeks, you can listen for Andy's "Quick Tips"...just some little things that you and I can do to reach our own goals of living that healthier lifestyle!
I didn't start this blog just so you can see how I'm doing...but, so that you can join me on this journey. This is where we can share our goals, struggles, fears, frustrations, and accomplishments! You stories will encourage all of us to keep going! I don't want to do this just to lose weight...I want to do this so that I am around for my family for many years to come. I also believe that God gave me this body, and I am responsible to take care of it!
So...let's go...we'll commit together to a Healthier '09! I'll be praying for you!
